After spending five weeks in Corsica this spring to teach kayaking it was time to go paddling myself again. Luckily in the Ticino region it was supposed to be rainy all weekend and clearing up afterwards for the whole week. So I packed all my gear back in the car and started driving down south again to the Lago Maggiore.

Having a little rainy first day down the Verzasca, the sky cleared up more and more and the temperatures were rising during the week. So we went over the border to Italy had some sliding fun down the Sorba, a little park-and-huck action at the San Giovanni and ice cream at the beautiful lakeside in Cannobio. Just before leaving back home our sweet little trip ended with another postcard like run down the Verzasca.
